A Public Analyst’s report is required in order to obtain a certificate of free sale. The product for export must be submitted to the Laboratory for testing in advance of the export date.
A minimum of 400g or 500ml of sample is required unless otherwise specified and if appropriate, the product should be supplied in its retail packaging.
A list of the ingredients of the product must be supplied. This information may be present on the retail packaging. If the product, due to its nature, is not exported in retail form, the list of ingredients must be supplied in an accompanying document.
If the product is a concentrate which will require dilution and packaging in the destination country prior to sale, the recommended dilution levels and final concentrations of controlled additives, vitamins and minerals must be supplied to the Laboratory.
