Reports are issued according to the laboratory Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) PALA 0018 ‘Test Item Delivery and Reporting according to Timeframes and Deadlines Policy’. This SOP is available at the following link

This SOP explains that it is laboratory policy that samples are analysed and analytical reports issued to customers as soon as possible after sample receipt.
The management of samples marked critical or urgent will be agreed with a customer prior to submission of samples and detailed in the relevant Service Level Agreement.
